Performance (40% of the final score) – and so it comes down to the scoring once more. This being the fourth of four PRIME Ultra units, no surprises were seen at any time. Voltage regulation was mythic level goodness, so no points come off there. Ripple control was pure excellence, we’ll do no deduction there. Efficiency was Titanium at all times. So once again, the only blemish on this diamond is the power on spike performance where the 12V rail continues to be not too smooth and continuous. Half a point off for that. 9.5.

Functionality (20% of the final score) – there’s really nothing to deduct, here. This unit is fully modular, comes with lots of accessories, has that same awesome fan controller as the other PRIMEs, and I found no issues with any of the cabling. 10.

Value (20% of the final score) – you’ll be needing $179.99 at NewEgg to get one of these right now. It’s ten dollars less than the white version, and both of them add up to the most expensive 750W units NewEgg has listed. No other Titaniums at this power level appear to be in stock, but Silverstone does have two 800W models coming in at lower prices. That said, one of those two models relies on being an SFX unit to compete while the other is in no danger of becoming a Seasonic level performer. Even so, on a price basis, Silverstone’s unit does demand some consideration here. 9.5.

Build Quality (20% of the final score) – flawless, just as we expect from Seasonic. 10.

SUMMARY

Our look at the PRIME Ultra Titanium series has now at last come to a conclusion. We can now definitively say there’s not a bad performer in the bunch, and while all do have some very minor drawbacks I can’t see any reason not to recommend any of them. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go put this unit on a shelf with all the other PRIME Ultra Titaniums and hoard them all for a rainy day.

The GOOD:

  • amazing voltage regulation
  • excellent ripple control
  • super long warranty
  • lots of accessories
  • fully modular
  • semi-fanless mode
  • excellent build quality

The BAD:

  • nothing

The MEDIOCRE:

  • nothing
