Page 1 - The Box

Good day to you, Internet peoples. Today I'm taking a break from power supplies and reviewing a case - the new Corsair 750D. The box says it's a full tower, so this should be a case with plenty of space. And since I just did some running in the park a few minutes ago during which time I bumped into a woman by accident, I suppose you could say I'm reviewing a case with plenty of space after being maced in the face during the race.

I suppose I may have been imagining that whole run in the park thing. After all, who am I to overcome inertia?

Uh, no. I specifically grew up so I wouldn't have to put away my toys.

I like the fact that this case is made of aluminum. My last few for the main rig were all steel, which is a little bit of a pain to deal with in the location where I put it. Lots of drive bays... good. Lots of room for oversize video cards... also good. I have a Gigabyte HD6870 that's pretty long.

Thus far, this case looks quite versatile. Nice.

There's not a lot to the box, but on both sides we get a list of specifications and some dimensions.

Here's an up close look at those specs.

The back of the box shows an exploded diagram of the case, with all the marketing from the front repeated in languages other than English.

Unpacking the box, we find our case enclosed in plastic bags and styrofoam. Let me just get all this stuff off it, here.

Hmm... I still have some protective film to remove, it appears.
