The Elysium is listed as a Super Tower Chassis, and after seeing the size of the box I can understand why. The box art on the packaging is graphical to say the least. The Elysium is well packed in a thick walled cardboard box. Along the lower edge of the front we find the main features the chassis has to offer.
Along the lower portion of the rear we find several images focusing on certain areas of the Elysium chassis. On one end of the box they list of the specifications, while on the other end, they show the four versions of the Elysium that are available.
The Elysium is available in Windowed-Black, Original Black, Windowed Silver, or Original Silver.
The Lazy Susan that I have the Elysium sitting on is 24" in diameter if that gives you any idea how big the case is. From first glance the Elysium has a nice clean look to it.
Looking at the front view we can see that the Elysium has aluminum strips that run up both sides of the 12 5.25" drive bays. The drive bay covers are meshed to offer optimum air flow. Looking at the rear we have 10 expansion slots, 7 grommets for water cooling lines, and 2 PSU mounting options.
Our version of the Elysium is the windowed black version, which is what helps give it the clean look. I see tons of modding possibilities in this case. With the length that it has, water cooling options should be plentiful as well.
This thing is simply massive to say the least. Even just picking it up empty, it weighs more than a couple of my fully built systems. On the left side, the Elysium has a 200mm white LED intake fan that is included. The large U-shaped window is mounted in the chassis using plastic rivets. I've seen these come loose and allow windows to vibrate over time. I would have liked to seen these mounted more securely with screws and have suggested that Xigmatek do just that. On the right side you can mount either a 80mm or a 120mm cooling fan (optional) to aid in cooling the CPU area.
