Page 1 - How the 550W is different than the 450W

So now its time to put the 550W to the test.

As we look at the box, we find that the Core Edition 550W box is nearly identical to that of the 450W power supply. Even the incorrect information about the unit having DC to DC and solid capacitors are on this box.

The unit itself is nearly identical as well:

Both the 450W and 550W are the exact same size. The 550W has just one more cable than the 450W, giving us three more SATA connectors:

So all we need to do now is load up the power supply! Some reprogramming of the load tester is necessary, but once again we're ready for a 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80%, 100% load and two crossloads, just as before.
