Seasonic X-1250 1250W
When I reviewed Seasonic's Platinum 1kW unit, it had such exceptional voltage regulation that I wondered if they were ever going to be able to do better than that. Let's not mince words - I've got the X-1250 in my hands now. Let's find out if this unit is the answer to my challenge.

Rosewill Fortress 750W

Today we are going to be looking at one of the newer units from Rosewill, the Fortress 750W. Rosewill had a good showing last time with the Capstone 750W unit pulling in a 9.1 for a final score. With the Fortress series boasting Platinum efficiency over the Capstones Gold rating, will we see other improvements as well? Let's read on and find out.

Enermax Platimax 1350W
We've looked at a few awesome and awesomely large Enermax units here at the site lately. First, we had the Lepa G1600, which showed us that Enermax was bringing something special to the table. We saw this again with the Maxrevo 1500W. Now, Enermax is going for 80 Plus Platinum based on that same platform. I wonder if it will remain the same incredible performer when tweaked to even higher efficiency. There's only one way to find out. Come on in.

Cougar comes to us today bearing their newest entry into the 80 Plus Gold market, the GX G800. A revision of their older GX series, this unit promises not only high efficiency, but "Perfect voltage regulation." We'll be the judge of that, won't we? Come on in, and we'll get started.

PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 1200W

The last time we saw a PC Power and Cooling unit, it was back when jonnyGURU himself took a look at one of a new line of Silencers, which went by the Mark III designation. Weighing in at 600 watts, it managed to do ok here at our site. PC Power and Cooling is back today with a unit twice as powerful. It's 1200 watts, it's certified 80 Plus Platinum, and it wants to be your next power supply.

FSP Aurum Xilenser 400W
I've had a few fanless units come in here now and again and attempt to impress me. Some have succeeded more than others. FSP is the latest company to send one of these silent marvels my way, and they're looking to find out what I think of it. Coming in at 400 watts, this is a fully hardwired unit that promises 80 Plus Gold efficiency.

Enermax Maxrevo 1500W
Back in April, I took a look at a monster of a unit, a 1600 watt Lepa that came in and showed other power supplies how it's done. Built by Enermax, it was quite an impressive feat of engineering. Now, I've got the Enermax version on my load tester, the Maxrevo 1500 watt. Is this still a plaform the competition should fear? Let's waste no time in finding out.

Thermaltake Toughpower XT Gold 1475W
Now that we've taken a look at two of Thermaltake's biggest new power supplies on the market in the form of their Toughpower XT 1275 watt and 1375 watt, I reckon it's time to look at the biggest one in the line - the 1475 watt model. On the next one down, I found that despite being billed as 80 Plus Gold, it actually did one better and cleared Platinum. I can't wait to see if this one can manage the same feat. Let's put it to the test right now, shall we?

Corsair AX1200i 1200W

Today we have the opportunity to take look at a unique power supply that has been stirring up questions since its debut at Computex in early June, the Corsair AX1200i. The AX1200i is the first DSP (Digital Signal Processor) controlled to hit our section of the market. What does DSP bring to the table? Well, let's dig in and see if we can answer that question along with a few others that might be floating around.

Corsair HX850 Gold
Three years ago, give or take a month, Corsair came in here with a new power supply based on a new platform, called it the HX850, and walked away with their first ever perfect score for performance. Today, they've come to me with the replacement for that unit in the newly redesigned HX850. This time, bearing 80 Plus Gold certification. Let's see if they've been able to keep that stellar performance the HX850 was known for.
