It's another boring gray box of a power supply, but since the power supply unit is often the most overlooked aspect of a computer, I feel that it's important that we, as responsible journalists, not leave a single unit on the market untested.

And in case you're tempted by the glossy box sitting on the shelf, I leave you with this quote from Benchmark's review of the GlacialPower 550W....

GlacialPower's product presentation was above the average, but once you get your hands on the GP-PS550BP the pretty pictures on the box escape your memory. It surprises me that a product destined for OEM use would even bother with a glossy retail package; especially if the contents were far from exciting.
