In IT, each autumn brings with itself something new,
after the dry summer period, which is generally shunned when new products are
to be presented, since much of it goes “under the radar”. Well, AMD certainly
is trying to make this autumn noticeable, marking the upcoming period with its
Radeon series. Having in mind the blow struck to the HD series at the very
beginning, with the HD 2000 series’ cards, few would expect the following four
generations to have fared so well. Since HD 3000 upwards, everything has been
back on track, and now we have Radeons from the HD 6000 series on our testing
desks...
