ABS Tagan BZ900 900W reviewed at Hardware Canucks
SKYMTL at Hardware Canucks takes a look at an ABS/Tagan BZ900, a 900W unit. It's younger brother was reviewed by Paul over at [H]ardOCP. The unit bears all the hallmarks of a Topower build, including the bogus 12V split/combine switch, a dodgy sounding "Samson" brand of caps on the secondary (perhaps a Samxon knock off?) and the black ribbed heatsinks.
But, despite the initial misgivings, the unit showed excellent voltage regulation across the board (better than its 800W brother) and the DC output quality seems pretty darn good. Head over to Hardware Canucks for the entire review.
