After the recent acquisition of a SunMoon ATE device, it looks like Gabriel Torres is cranking out the PSU reviews in earnest! In his second review, Gabe puts the 3Y (an FSP subsidary) built OCZ ProXstream 1KW through its paces. The platform and design employed is similar to the OCZ Evostream series, which was reviewed by our very own jonnyGURU HERE.
Apparantly, Gabe ran into a serious thermal issue due to the rather cramped nature of the innards. Is this a fatal flaw? Does it impact the elctrical characteristics? Does the 1kW unit acquit itself like its younger 600W brother? Answers to these questions and more can be found in his detailed review HERE.
