It's official! As of Thursday afternoon, CompUSA is a division of Systemax. At least their web presence uses the same back end as TigerDirect, TigerDirect.ca, Infotel, Global and Misco. Personally, I kind of like this layout better than either Tiger's OR the old CompUSA!
There's still no news, not even on this new site, as to which CompUSA retail stores will be kept after the mass closings. What is stated is that "every retail store is undergoing an inventory reduction event" and that "all merchandise is on sale with savings ranging from 10 - 30% off original price."
