PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W review at HardwareCanucks

SKYMTL over at HardwareCanucks is just cranking them out!  The review of the PC Power & Cooling 610W went live this morning.

The first thing that is noticeable from the interior of the Silencer 610 is the placement of the heatsinks; they are set up in a way that they will take advantage of the single 80mm exhaust fan. From the interior quality it is evident that this is a higher-end Seasonic build which looks remarkably like the Corsair HX620 we reviewed a short while back. Other than the longer housing, horizontally opposed heatsinks, lack of a modular interface and a few other very minor differences, the Silencer 610 has almost the exact same internals as the HX620. It even has the same primary transformer placement but the 120*C-rated primary capacitor has been replaced by a Nippon Chemicon branded unit.

In other PC Power & Cooling news, it seems that warranties have been upgraded from 3 to 5 years and from 5 to 7 years.
