It's a design that was previously only seen in Mainland China (as it's limited to 230vAC.)

It'd be more interesting if it had longer cables (24pin & 8pin are only 45cm) and decent capacitors (JunFu on the primary & secondary is a mix of JunFu & SamXon).

As it stands, I'd forget about it if you can get the CX430 or CX430v2 for the same price or cheaper (after MIR.)

The thing is, in PL CX430 is actually quite expensive.

Exchange rate issue I take it?

As I know in the UK & Germany the CX430 / v2 are very cheap units. Usually with BeQuiet 450w units (System Power S6 & Pure Power L7) as well as other solid units likes the Antec Basic Power VP450P units not far behind or just a few denominations cheaper.

In India the CX430v2 is about US$6 more than the VS450.

That's worth the difference then; 4-6% efficiency gains, longer cables, & better caps (all SamXon is better than a mix with JunFu.)
GPA at least showed it can perform decently though.
