So, if you look at the Seasonic X-750W, you'll see this
![]() And the manual states that is has 2 EPS12V connectors http://www.seasonic.com/pdf/datashee...l/X-Series.pdf Readily, you'll see that there is an 8 pin socket right there for one of them but where do you connect the second cable to? Reason's because I intend to use the Supermicro H8DCL-iF http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...MGP7335_wp.jpg (large image!!!) |

Well, they say (1) 4 pin and (2) 8pin.
looks like the first top row is marked PCIE/ CPU 8 pin. Thats your 2x 8 pin. Then, the 4 pin/ 8 pin beside beside it. So...plenty of MB connectors, but will cut into the number of PCIE connectors you will have remaining afterwards...right?

I thought each 12 pin cable had 2 PCIE connectors?

OH yes it does! I feel so stupid right now.
Those 12 pins actually support 2 x 8 pin PCI-Es |
