With Vista around the corner, I'm hoping this foums will come in handy.

For example: I installed Vista on a PC yesterday. Couldn't figure out how to shut down! There's an icon that looks like a power button on the start bar and when I hit it, it just went to the "Quick Logon" screen where I could only switch users or log back in as me. Finally, I hit the power button on the PC and it went to "Shutting Down."

LOL! Oh well... I haven't played with it too much. Been to busy and don't want to install it on a daily driver because I don't know what I'd do once my RC "expires."

I have no plans for Vista myself, but that'll probably change somewhere down the road. For now, I'll just enjoy having my main box up and running after the upgrade now that I've discovered XP repair installs do not like custom boot logos

Hah! Just like XP-Pro, my uni will carry the Pro-est Vista version for $10-$20. One of the few perks of being a student.
