It'll at least help them keep the silent name to be true.

On the other hand, I wonder if this is the same design as the Silent Pro Gold's. Any good shots of the internals?

And the PSU hot. I prefer a good fancontroller.

No nothing, but the 1050W has the same amps on the 12V as the SPG-1000, and that is one less then the Silverstone ST1000-G. So I'll say yes.

Well the SPG-1000 & ST1000-G are two separate platforms.

Though, if it's the same amperage (12v) wise, s the SPG-1000, then it's very likely the same platform.

As for the PSU running hot; you're looking at 130w of wasted power. That's not a whole lot to get rid of. A 135mm fan running at 1000 RPM should push that out easily while staying under 25dB(A) easily.

The Silent Pro Gold units can get up to 35-38dB(A) when fully loaded. Which is very noticeable. Partially due to the fan design though, it has a sound signature with a "loud" chopping noise, that's easy to perceive.
Note: by "loud" I mean, it's the loudest part of the sound signature.
