Default What's in the works for November

November's schedule (and why I'm not calling PCP&C this month):

The EvoStream 600W should be done this week.

I'm testing an Antec NeoPower and FSP Epsilon for the "before" of a "before and after recap" article OKW is going to be doing.

I have one of the new Zalman Heat Pipe PSU's on the way (hopefully.)

I'm going to be load testing a 2theMax for another website.

I will be trying to kick off the twice-monthly "Trade In Your Crap" contest where I swap someone's came-with-the-case PSU for something quality. All crappy power supplies collected will be put into a big round up which should be the biggest traffic draw in jonnyGURU history.

But before that gets done, I have to implement navigation for the reviews db and a search site function. The about us page should go up this weekend so people know how to contact to bitch out.

Looking good! Some how, I believe, this would be the most frequented section of the forums.

Can't wait to see how the Zippy units do. Also can't wait to see if the RMA replacement on that Antec can run for five minutes loaded down in the hot box

jonny, i might get another zippy 700w also. Only PS to date i have seen with rubycon caps on the primary side, strange eh!

It is very odd that the 700w and the 850w zippys dont share a common design platform.

Actually, i'm a big fan of the flat black, sleeved, and no frills no gimmicks. Just because, My case doesn't have a window, and even if it did, I want people to see that I'm using a real supply of quality, not an over-blinged piece of crap.

This is actually that retro stamped steel look... you know, the kind that was on powersupplies for the first 20 years of computing.

but yah, definitely function first here... i dont care if it was puke yellow... if it performed the best i'd have it
