Hey, got a quick question for ya guys.
I been doin some research readin around on 8 pin pcie connectors as im thinkin on gettin a card that need ones, after finding out that the other 2 extra pins are just ground wires, I was curious if it would be safe to just hook up ground wires from say a spare molex directly to the card. They sell adapters but from what i am seein in the adapters they are just tapping to the pre existing grounds on the 6pin, and im thinkin that 2 grounds from a seperate source would be better. any info is appreciated. |
