Default Building new system PSU recommendation

I've finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade. I have parts arriving next week. Actually I'm selling my G5 Power mac (dual 2 gig) and building a hackintosh but that's for another thread!

The system is as follows:

GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...YTE-_-13128087

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Yorkfield 2.5GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115043

Artic 7 pro cooler
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186134

Gskill 4 gig of ram
G.SKILL-_-20231145" target="_blank">http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ILL-_-20231145

Pioneer Black 20X DVD+R
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827129020

Total of 2 SATA Harddrives (wd raptor and another 300 GiG SATA I had from an old system).

Geforce 7800 I have lying around but I will probably upgrade to an 8800 in the not to distant future.

I currently have a 430 watt Thermaltake Purepower NP power supply in my parts bin.

My usage is Audio recording, Some gaming, light video work and normal desktop computing.

Can I use this for this system? I'd like to save the money but if need be I can get a new one.

Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations.

If this is your PSU, with 18A on +12V and failing to deliver what's printed on label I'd say to pass it.
Instead that TT an Corsair VX450 would be more than enough for your system

you could always pass on the 270 dollar Yorkfield and opt for the $199 C2Q kentsfield, thus leaving you with enough budget headroom to get the VX450.
