For p35 boards, I liked the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P, it was about 150 at zipzoomfly a few days ago.
-Pretty good layout, although I don't like the orientation of Gigabyte's sata plugs.
-eSATA bracket included
-Plenty of USB and a few Firewire
-Good stable overclocking (and I think its got plenty of space for aftermarket coolers)

I ended up getting the GA-EX38-DS4 personally just because I wanted pci-e 2.0, but p35 and x38 are pretty much identical in performance from everything I've seen.

I am one of the very few fans of DFI here, most of the guys here don't like DFI because of the hassles people have had getting RAM timings set to work well with their boards, the fact is, DFI boards are NOT for the faint of heart or inexperienced, they are nice boards generally IMHO, but very very fussy to work with.

For example, I kept having crashes and resets until I figured out that my secondary timings needed to be messed with. You aren't a candidate for a DFI board, don't get one. Look at the boards by Gigabyte, most of their boards are very good, give very few troubles, are affordable, and feature rich, they are very popular.

BTW, in order to reset the BIOS without a jumper, remove the battery and then place a flat bladed screw driver over the positive and negative contact of the battery mount (ALWAYS unhook power supply power first!!!)

I still think that jumper IS for resetting your CMOS, their wording sounds like it to me!

No, actually we don't like DFI because they can't make a reliable product that adheres to the ATX spec and has consistent performance and QC.
