XP 2800+ sytem - cheap

Asking $85 + ship for a good used older system.

I am getting rid of my primary system due to upgrade. I have an Athlon XP 2800+ SE (400 mhz fsb) running on a Chaintech skt600 MB, it has a 1gig stick of PQI Turbo 400 ddr in it and 2 more ram slots; the board also has unused front headers for audio and usb. Speaking of USB, it's also usb 2.0, 5.1 channel analog with spidif header in the on board.

Has 2 IDE ports and 2 sata with 1 cable and ps adapter
Lite-On 812s DVD+RW/CDR burner
Setup disks and cables included.

As far as graphics, I put in a new XFX agp 7600gs right around xmas and I am the first registered owner, so you have the benefit of the lifetime warranty (it carries over). This machine plays current titles like FEAR and Company of heroes great at 1024 x 768 or 1020 x 1024 due to the card, it even runs Vista ultimate with AERO great as well as Ubuntu. The mic does not work in vista however, the audio is fine.

It comes in a Fong Kai 602 minitower which I painted sage green, so it's fugly but works fine. No floppy or hard drive (I am using the drive wd400bb in my new tower until I can scrape the money to get a hd. I would gladly send the HD to the buyer after I get my new one.

The system is rock stable but I am selling it because it gets slow in supreme commander and I am looking forward to future games like FEAR 2; It has been running until this past week, no damp storage
