Default New Cooler Master UCP series

Cooler Master is preparing new series of high-end PSUs, called Ultimate Circuit Protection (UCP).Efficiency ~88%,Quad SLI and CrossFireX support, first 3 models will be 700W, 900W and 1100W, 5 year warranty.900W and 1100W models are Intel Skulltrail certified, with 6x6 pin and 3x8 pin PCI-E and 2x4+4 pin CPU connectors.700W model has 4x6 pin and 2x8 pin PCI-E and 1x4+4pin CPU connectors.All models will have 120mm fan.1100 W model will cost around 350$.

Only a 120mm fan? Why not a 135mm? The added size would help it to be more quiet and have better airflow I would think.

I don't know, this news is taken from serbian site benchmark.co.yu, and they got it exclusively from Cooler Master.

Yeah.. I'll wait on this one. Specs look "as they should be" for the wattages stated. The housing is pretty, but so is Raidmax's housings.

Didn't Ultra patent the 135mm and 140mm fans?

As for the "greater than 88%" efficiency....that is a pretty tall claim but more power to them if they actually achieve it.

Right.. like the claim that the eXtreme Power 600W can actually do 600W? I'll wait and see.....
