aka is the psu powerful enough.
current system x2 4800 brisbane 2gb ddr2 800 BIOSTAR TForce TF570SLI x1950xt 256mb 2 x seagate 250gb 7200.10 xclio goodpower 500w changes 1 x seagate 250gb 7200.10 radeon 3870 asus dx/d2 or similar sound card will it power? or upgrade? only reason i ask is cause i was planning on turning it into a htpc and didnt want to upgrade it allot. The HD3870 probably uses less power than the X1950XT...you are fine

Yeah. It's not a "bad" PSU and if it was working with the X1950XT the HD3870 isn't going to make any difference.

yeah been running it for about a year or so now. has 4 ~110 cfm fans and a laing ddc hooked up also that wont be later
