Default Delta built Thermaltakes

Just found this: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/P...w0161_162.asp#

It seems like TT is using Delta for a new series. The model is GPS-400AB C

It seems that TT has changed their path. Purepower RX, Toughpower both good/very good CWT builds and now Delta...
Nice.

I think the Litepower is meant to be a low-end series. Delta is a good OEM, but not everything they build is high quality. The unit goes for $42.99 on Newegg

The unit is peak-rated at 400W. Continuous output = 350W. +12V combined = 19A

It is specified with a ripple of 150mV on +12V

Hmmph, not an impressive unit for that price, Acbel E2 420w will run circle around it. The specs & external built seem very similar to Enlight 420w sold in my country, priced at around 37-38 US$ with 2 yrs warranty. The ripple spec is just dissappointing, somebody should check whether Thermaltake orders its OEM to use crappy, cheapo caps for this unit, maximizing their profit and using out of ATX spec standard as a shield.

Oh s**t. I was expecting more. I was hoping that TT has found the right path with latest CWT's but it seems that their past is haunting them.

150mV ripple on +12V is not good enough.
Maybe ripple<120mV on +12V will be sufficient for value PSU.
