Default PowerUp GEN-6802 800-Watt

Is this a good PSU for a setup with an 8800GT in SLI? I may want to replace my Ultra X-finity 600W but only if I find out that it won't with the SLI setup. Other specs include Q6600 @ 3.2GHz, 500GB HDD, 4GB DDR2 RAM, a DVD/CD RW drive, and 6 120mm fans.

Terrible. See the review of the Ultra X2 750W over at HardOCP for details.

Or this thread: http://www.jonnyguru.com//forums/showthread.php?t=3715

My advice would be to up the old budget just a little if you want a good 800W.

Would this be a better product for my setup then?

As you can tell, I'm a bargain hunter and I will try my best to get good products at the lowest possible price.

Shill time!!

Bargain hunter: http://www.buy.com/prod/bfg-tech-800...204696870.html

Lower initial cost, lower price after rebate, free shipping, better PSU.

Seriously... beat that.

Yeah - that BFG is a better option. Same type of design, less ripple.
