I have the Raidmax RX-530SS. It has the same internals as Aerocool Zero-DBA 500W. Review of it was good. The bigger brother Shark 635 has the same internal design except beefier parts, so I am not sure if the 535 is the same or similar.

Third old thread with the mention of "Raidmax" that you've bumped.
You're now required to provide internal shots of your Raidmax PSU or you're going to get banned for a week for being a Raidmax shill. Thanks, and welcome.

The only reason for multiple posts is that searches on the web only turned up a lot of bashing of this particular brand, which worried me after purchasing this one after rebate. So after much researching on what to look for in a PSU, I found the review on the Aerocool, which gives me some peace of mind and hopefully others as well. |

Since when did providing EXTERNAL pictures void the warranty? If you are not trolling, at least provide pictures of your setup and the unit with a UL number on it. It goes for $20.00 new. You are telling me that it is same as an Aerocool ZerodBA?

So what are these two pictures? They're definitely Andyson units. I see they're attributed to Overclocker's Club. Are they pics from a review of the Raidmax or the Sigma? The label from Newegg says nothing about Raidmax. Are you trying to say that Raidmax is Sigma, because it doesn't look like that to me. It looks like Sigma is Sigma.
Got links?

Like I said, I could not provide CLEAR internal shots of the Raidmax RX-530SS so that you can compare them with those in the Aerocool ZERO-DBA review and see for yourself that they are the same. However, you will see that the external pictures provided are almost worthless in that regard. That's why I provided shots of the next best thing, which is the Sigma Shark 635...which has the same UL# (I thought this is manufacturer #) and same design as the Raidmax except components may be beefier to support more power. Since the Sigma Shark 585 (the subject of the original post) has the same UL# and the same specs (see pic 1) as the Raidmax, I would assume that they are most likely the same (since there are not shots of the internals of the 585), which would mean you can use the Aerocool review to gauge the performance of the 585.

Brands like Raidmax often mix and match vendors for units in each model line. Even if the unit has the same manufacturer or UL number it is not neccesarily (or even likely at times) going to be similar or the same.
