Default Chieftec 1200W

Hi!
I was looking through the internet and found this power supply.
It is being sold for about 240$ in my country. Is it any good? Who is the OEM? Is it worth the price?(Corsair 620W costs about 200$ here)

As I have yet to see any inside shot of it I can only make a half educated guess. But judging from the exterior it looks like they are similar to the Enermax Galaxy series.

Afaik Chieftec have their own UL (E223935) and is only using that regardless of the oem.

In general they have been using Sirtec, but their Turbo Series line (the blue ones) are CWT's.

Ok but in the product page it lists the UL number as e144195. Like I said I don't know of a 1200w Sirtec model it justs list them as the OEM on the product page. It could be bad web management, it could be correct, it could be wrong.

Yep, it's not on their homepage but it's on product list on our Sirtec reseller. It's name is Sirtec HPC-1200-G14C and below you have some pictures and specs.

Well, would you look at that. Great find!!

I love how the specifications list this as a 1200W unit and then a bit lower it says:

Contents: 1X 1000W Power Supply

Sorry maybe it's just a mistake. I take photos and specs from here.
My friend on our Sirtec reseller is not on-line now to tell me more, but i'll insist tommorow, day after tommorow, until he'll tell me something

Anyway his little brother HPC-1000-G14C is 80+ certified.
Frankly I'd love to see a Sirtec from new series in hands of OW or madmat...

So would I - Sirtec engineering has never impressed me much, especially after those two Coolmax units popped.
