Default I need some good mATX PSU suggestions please...

I need two mATX PSUs that are powerful and quiet.

The first one is for a generic mATX case similar to this one:

http://directron.com/l613.html

It will be powering an HTPC system. I'm moving my current media pc from an Antec SuperLanboy (I needed a case, and CompUSA had it for $30, lol) to some mATX case a I had layin around. Here are the specs of the system I'm planning on moving over:

AX2 3800+ @ 2.4Ghz
Foxconn 6150K8MA
2GB OCZ DDR440
500GB x2
Lite-On Combo Drive
Audigy2
WinTV PVR250
FusionHDTV 3GoldQ
X1950GT HDCP << new addition, previously used onboard

I'm looking for something in the 350W range that can power that X1950 rather quietly.

The 2nd one will be a replacement for the current JustPC 350W mATX PSU. The JustPC is justLOUD!! lol... Here's a pic of the case:

It came with an FSP 240W PSU, but that burned out a while ago when I had a GF 5900XT, lol. Here are the specs:

P4 HT 2.4C @ 2.4Ghz
Asus P4P800-VM i865G
1GB (2x512MB) Winbond DDR-400
200GB SATA150
Lite-On Combo Drive
Audigy2 Value
Radeon 9800Pro
Sony FDD

I'm thinking something in the 250W range that's also quiet.

I saw some Seasonic 80+ PSUs on the Seasonic website, but I can't seem to find any of them for sale anywhere.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

270w enermax w/20a on the 12v rail.

300w FSP

320w Enermax w/28a on the 12v rail.

seems with with popularity of SFF boxes that can accept full size ATX PSU's, mATX's psu's aren't real popular anymore.

Haha, I own (or have owned) all three units. They are all good and quiet.

I had an older revision of the 270W Enermax with only 16A on +12v and dual fans (80mm as pictured, separate 60mm sticking OUT next to the wires coming out).

The 300W FSP have dual rails of 8A and 14.5A, with supposedly a combined of the full 22.5A (IIRC, seen on a PDF that is no longer on their site ). There is also a different series at 300W and 350W which may have more +12v amperage, but these use noisier 60mm fans to cool and are deeper, plus are pretty rare. The linked FSP is a really small unit without a fan sticking out. The FSP is also reasonably priced. If you really must have the (maybe noisier) 350W version, the only way to get it that I know of right now is to buy this case. Coincidentally I have one of those cases (with that PSU). The case is available with three different FSP power supplies, the other two being lower wattage.

The 320W Enermax is IMO the best choice for top power output. I think I paid just over $60 shipped from Newegg when they had it ( Newegg is becoming teh suck for PSU and case shipped pricing). It has 24A on a single +12v rail (not 28A as listed above). I'm currently using it in my gaming rig and it has held up well. Of course I had the 300W FSP in there previously and it worked fine as well.

Parts:
Athlon 64 4000+ (San Diego core) overclocked to 3.12GHz
Biostar Tforce6100-939 motherboard
2GB RAM
single HDD and optical
Geforce 7900GTO video card
Here's an older pic of it:

I actually ran the 320W Enermax in that rig (with the overclock) with a Geforce 8800GTS 320MB for a little while. "Little while" means long enough to finish 3DMark06. I didn't leave it in there because while it appeared to run stable, from the first moment powering it up the fan in the Enermax ramped up to previously unheard of speeds (and noise levels). My guess is, "I'm giving her all she's got, captain!"

I've wanted to yank out parts from an ATX PSU and make my own, but never got around to it. My donor PSU would have been an FSP400-60GLN. It is one of the Fortron "Green" PSUs and the guts are tiny.
