What I like about the Zippy is the nice fat +5v@45a rail
I will be needing a "real" server PSU after the next drive install

It's already begining to crossload
Hooked a DMM to it the other day to check it out.
I'm getting +5v@4.65v and +12v@12.67 at boot up time,
and +5v@4.82v and +12v@12.53, 20 mins idle.

I know it's within spec, but I've never had readings like that before I installed the last two drives.

This next one just might send it over the edge
I can't even stagger the boot becouse only two of my drives are SATA, and
old ones at that.

I'm going to try and throw more fans on it to even things up a bit

You shouldn't be getting a Truepower to crossload - it's an independant design. Due to the age of the unit, I'd really have to suspect the caps. Or profound overloading
