Hello,
Since i bought my pc ,approx.8 months ago, i have been plagued by a pc that BSOD's. All related to the nv4_displ.dll. During these months alot of components have been replaced and tested, tried all drivers possible. E.G. Tried to run with a 8600gt card instead of a 8800gts, and that worked ok. Current setup: P5W DH Deluxe (bios 2103. on a brand new mb) CPU Core2Duo E 6600 Soundblaster X-FI FATALITY Club3d GEForce 8800GTS 640mb (brand new) SPIRE Rocketeer 4 600W PSU DVD BUrner Benq dw1670 2*1024MB RAM aspeed(DDR2-533 SATA 2 HD Maxtor 320 GB Antec P180B case Card reader My vendor can't figure out what is wrong. Last resort seems the PSU. Is it possible that the rocketeer 4 can't handle the load? And will a Antec True power Quattro be a good match for my pc, will it fit in the antec case? Nask |

Spire is a Topower. Hit and miss. Probably yours is a miss.
![]() You don't have a good brand 400W PSU to try? But before that did you try different sets of drivers for your 8800GTS? Vista or XP? True Power Quattro is overkill for your setup. |

Unfortunately i don't have another PSU to try.
![]() I am running Windows XP. Strange enough the pc can run for days with out an hickup and then the BSOD strikes again Which PSU should match perfectly with my system? Thinking of an antec NEoHE or True Power Trio perhaps? P.S.I don't mind buying the Quattro ,even if it is overkill. Just need peace of mind after so many months of having this pc of hell . |
