Default Silverstone TJ09-BW case fan question

I need a question answered about this case, i'm curious to know about the top 2 fans, are those meant as exhaust or intake? I think its exhuast, however when i was putting the system together i messed up and put one fan as exhaust and 1 as intake, i'm wondering if i should use the 2nd as exhaust as well.

Run both as exhaust.

I run mine pulling air from the top and blowing down. The way I have it figured, the top of the drive bay is above the openings in the case sides so that's a bad spot for warm air to get hung up in if the fan's blowing upwards whereas if it's drawing fresh air from the top then the warm air can't get trapped in that space.

I have my drives in the top rack and with an ambient room temp of 32C the hottest drive hits 40C during extended defrag sessions.

I put that top fan on exhaust but haven't seen alomost no difference in temps. Actually they went up a bit, but it was a hot day so thats understandeble. As for the HDD fan, it makes sense what you say, though my hard drives are not running that hot with 22 to 26 c room temp they are running between 28 to 37 C. I may try reversing it and see what happens. Thanx for your help.
