Default Important - time sensitive CPU matter

What would a 400 FSB AthlonXP 3000+ w/Barton core insure for?

My reasons for needing to know are:

I bought one on Ebay, just now received it.

I gave $90.00 for and the person I bought it off of said:

" I am on my way to the post office right now to get this out. You MAY have it by Saturday, if all things work out. Please let me know that you received the package and the CPU is in good condition, as I will need to file an insurance claim otherwise.."

I'd appreciate this important info, thanks.

$400?

Is he charging you for the shipping/insurance cost? It's only about $3 extra cost for the extra $300 insurance, but still...

TBH it's worth no more than you paid for it.If you're putting it on household insurance on new for old then $90 is high as you can get much better new.

I really don't like where this seemed to be going with the $400 shipping insurance and you saying you received the chip already.Just leave the guy feedback and have done with it.

The shipping cost was a little over $6. I was charged $9.

Not gonna happen. I hate the actions of scammers. I plan on doing what I can to make certain this scammer doesn't victimize anyone else but I have steps to follow.

Your insureance, my insurance, everyone's taxes, everything is so high in cost because of people like this. That just.....

Priority mail + $90 insurance would cost $6.35 (USPS). With $400 insurance it would be $9.50. I bet that's your difference...right?

Yeah, this isn't a nice practice.. However, how does he gain from it, since he's paying the USPS for the insurance, so USPS is the winner.

Still, not a good seller.
