Me?
I don't play games anymore.. nah been long unless I'm having fun with some kid, but used to be in day and night zones breaking those arcades to bits! ![]() First one I can still recall was probably my dads console... (God bless him) Magnavox Odyssey 1TL200 in 76 or 77: Simon Says ![]() Then there were a ton of other wrackoofs: Tennis, Table Tennis and my fav "Shooting Gallery" ![]() First arcade, coin orientated game was probably "Computer Space". Just like Asteroids but released before Atari was commericially known. Yeah, what kicked off all this game developing was none other than Star Trek

At home, my first game was a version of Pong on the Coleco Telstar. That was 1976 or 77 or something.
First arcade game I played was the Monaco GP game they had at Sullivan's Department Store in Liberty, NY in 1980. I was 9. My first computer game was probably Hard Hat Mack on the Apple II in 1983 or 1984. There was a software store across from the Westminster Mall that had Apple II's set up for demo and one of them had Hard Hat Mack loaded up on it and I would take the #88 every Saturday and Sunday to that store to stand there and play that game for four to six hours straight. Amazingly, the staff at the store let me! My first PC game was Sir-Tech's Wizardry II knight of Diamonds as played on an IBM 286. I think that was around 1985 or 1986.

My first was Gauntlet at the arcade way back when. My parents wouldn't let me go to the arcade and we didn't have anything of the sort at home, but I snuck off to the arcade to play that one once in a while.

Pac-Man I suppose.
A friend of mine repaired arcade games, to include pinball machines too. It was fun fooling around in his shop. I could never get as angry or as serious as most players seem to get.

Space Invaders for coin op, before that it was pinball. My first console was a pong type from Sears that had four dials for up to four player play. Mixed doubles anyone?

Grandad had a pong believe it or not. Must have been 76 or 77. Few years after, he got a HH coleco football then baseball (or maybe he had them before but didn't let me play them till i got older???).
In my experience I think Gramps wasn't typical for the time, specially considering he was the district attorney.
