Default EVGA G+ series Released: "The new Gold standard for performance and value"

Quote:
Since its launch in 2013, the EVGA SuperNOVA G1 power supplies have been among the longest-lasting and best-performing power supplies on the market. Despite only a few changes over the years, it's only fitting that it's time for an upgrade. Enter the G1+, the new and improved fully-modular power supply line-up from EVGA with an 80+ Gold Efficiency rating.
EVGA continues flooding the market a bit with the new "G1+" series that were already seen in CES, for example.

They have less depth than G1 and claim to have 0.5% voltage regulation in the single 12V rail.

Available from 650W to 1000W.
MSRP@650W: $109.99 (=G3)
  • 80+Gold Rated
  • 100% Japanese Capacitors
  • Fully modular design
  • Tight voltage regulation
  • Fluid Dynamic Bearing
  • 10 year warranty

P.S. ATTENTION!! Meet the all new "Variable Resistor Module" system!!! "Additionally, the G1+ power supplies feature a cleaner internal layout to increase airflow, a Variable Resistor module (to increase voltage stability)" I suppose some marketing guy wanted to describe a VRM

INFO AND PICS: https://www.evga.com/articles/01185/...ower-supplies/

Who could be the OEM?

Oh! Yet another EVGA
G1,G2,G3,GS,GQ, G+ ...
And AFAIK EVGA works/worked with most of the OEMS:
  • Andyson (BQ)
  • HEC (W1, B1,BV)
  • FSP (G1, GQ)
  • RSY (BT)
  • Seasonic (GS)
  • SuperFlower (B2, B3, G2, G3, P2, T2)

Si I bet they want to get the full OEM collection so either CWT or GreatWall or Sirtec/Sirfa (Or Delta or Ehance or ...)

EVGA expands the BQ series in collaboration with a new OEM

Posted on November 30, 2016, 18:51

#The current EVGA BQ models on the market, 850/750/650W, are made by HEC. EVGA now added a 600W, 500W and lower wattage models to this line, using an OEM they haven't worked with before.

The new models are BQ 600W, 500W (these two are already available on the market) and a few lower-wattage ones that have been planned but may or may not be released. They are made by Andyson, an OEM new for EVGA.

Right, forgot about how messy EVGA can be, but the decent BQs are from HEC, so...
