Ye in the UK after 30 days that don't have to give you a refund but still should offer Repair or Replacement for 2 years. Pretty much every retailer will ask you to speak with the manufacturer first before doing anything themselves. I know that's what Amazon UK will do. Open an RMA with Corsair there really quick in the UK since the new centre opened.

Yes, that's what happened.

I'm based in Ireland. How's the experience with Corsair's RMA? I've only heard negative opinions.

I think you should ask Amazon by chat anyway, here in Spain people open Amazon chats, say that their 1.9 years old graphics card is dead (not true), they get the money back and buy a new one..

I'll try again, thanks for the heads up.

I'll also probably replace the CX450M with this : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...KL5A1OLE&psc=1

PC Specs :
G4600
8GB RAM
No GPU (will probably get a gt 1030 or GTX 1050/ti)

What do you think?

I've only heard positive. How about that?

Think about it: Your contacting a company to replace a failed product. Your experience is negative from day one because you're having to deal with something you didn't expect to deal with.

No offense, but is this whole buying things online experience new to you? You seem to not be very familiar with the whole experience/process.

The problem is, he's trying to get Amazon to give him a refund/credit so he can buy something different.

No retailer is obligated to do that. Even with "lemon laws" taken into consideration, one failed unit is not considered a "lemon". Amazon doesn't have to do squat for him.

I wanted to suggest him to ask for a replacement from Amazon, not a refund. What I wanted to say with my message is that if people can do such things with amazon.es (fake returns of expensive products), he should be able to get a simple replacement. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be amazon.co.uk policy

I don't work in any of the support teams and I'm not located in the E.U.

Pretty sure the guys at GE that engineer the jet engines don't know what the RMA rate is on washing machines.

While I was in Taiwan this last trip, a guy came up to me to tell me how much he loved Corsair's keyboards. I had to break it to him that he probably knew just as much about the keyboards as I do.
