Default Quitting

It saddens me to inform everyone that I will not be posting on in the foreseeable future. This is my own decision and not one made under duress.

Someone is taking everything I say and sharing it amogst individuals in other forums. Both industry individuals and consumers alike. And while I've yet to post any false information that I know of, and a large degree of these posts are certainly available to the public, by sharing them with other people on a one on one basis, I've been under attack for making the statements I've made. Like I said: Even though I have not posted false information.

Moving beyond that: I have shared some information with some individuals that I thought I could trust with that was not to be shared with others. My requests to not share the information outside of these conversations were ignored and a good deal of this information has leaked out to other people, which not only jeopardizes my trust in those individuals, but also others trust in me.

This cannot go on any further.

Perhaps I am naive to have such trust in too many people, but I cannot let it effect my life to such a degree. So I will no longer be posting as jonnyGURU here, or at any other website, starting today.

Don't bother sending me a PM asking me who has betrayed me. I'm not doing this for the drama. In fact, I'm doing this to avoid any further drama. Just know that in the coming months, it will become perfectly clear to the individuals who have betrayed my trust that they will no longer receive any help from me moving forward.

Rest in peace Mike Clements, aka "Yellowbeard"

Rest in peace Joerg Theissen, aka "GI Joe"

Thanks for all the time in the forums and the help you gave for a lot of us. I hope this is not permanent and I also hope that your problems get solved soon.

Sadly, the moral rock bottom people are able and willing to drop to became painfully evident a little while back when the AMA subforum was made...

I'm sorry to see you left with no other choice Jon, but I understand.

I sincerely hope whatever troubles these non-people landed you in won't leave any permanent damage to your otherwise impeccable integrity and track record. You're certainly one of the few people who genuinely earned and deserve respect.

I wish you all the best, and thank you for everything you've done for the community here, and for the PC PSU industry at large. Keep up the good work, and know you're appreciated!
Careful what you wish for... You just might get it.

Well...most people are junk, so i can understand your reasons.

It was nice to be able to share some ideias with a legend like yourself.

All the best to you and to your projects.

Sad to see you go. Your info was most enlightening, letting an industry know-nothing learn something. Thanks for all your help.
