For those that may or may not have liked Ultra power supplies in the past, you will like these
think I've heard something similar around here.

Love the "it runs 3dmark just fine, so it's gotta be good" results. newblet though I may be, that's still a little scary.

Each unit was able to maintain a level of stability that anyone in there right mind would call outstanding. For those that may or may not have liked Ultra power supplies in the past, you will like these. If you are really into numbers then I will let you know that the only number that moved from idle to load was the 12v3 and 12v4 that went from 12.09 and 12.10 to 12.08 and 12.09 respectively.

Conclusion

These two beauties are very good power units. The power that they are capable of supplying to a system is nothing that any other company hasn’t done, but one thing that Ultra can boast over some of the others is that the power the produce is very stable and clean. In the two weeks that I have had these units they have been tested in a few different environments without a single hiccup. One system that we tested the units in was a dual 8800GTS build and the units ran superbly.

The aesthetic appeals (the looks – Ed) of these units are pretty nice as well. They don’t have the bling of some of Ultra’s previous units, but they make up for it with a ready simplicity. I think that the anodized aluminum gives the X-Finity and X-Pro a rugged look that says that they are sturdy and will last for a long time.

When it comes to the cabling each person will have their own opinion. I personally would take either as both look clean and organized in any case. They both are easy to manage and maneuver to the end-users will.

I am giving each of these units a ‘Highly Recommended’ award due to the sturdy build quality and extremely stable power delivery. I think Ultra should be congratulated for producing such excellent PSUs. Well done Ultra!
If this is a "bad" review, may we never see a "good" one!

What I call it is NOT pissing off iether a company that is already advertising with them or NOT pissing off a potential advertiser.

If you think about it what I am saying is probably the most believable.....

After all who in there right mind would say things like this unless it was $$$ profitable...lol

Good thing there's already a Lee Garbutt review of these at PC Per.
