What? Only nVidia had cards that where prone to fail, like the G80, G84, G86, G92 and G94. With others the chance of failing is relatively small.

I am not getting any of the high-consumption-small-GPU-bad-cooling cards which of course drop like flies. Usually I am in the market for sub-150 W ones, nothing of those died on me yet. Well besides the 4850 I voltmoded and just wanted to try if it works with stock cooler…it made it all the way to OS boot screen

My HD 5770 is already aging a bit so time to double the performance. RX 460 would just that, but since manufacturers don't give a damn…hell they must be stupid, if they knew how many LCD screens only had D-Sub and ppl still use them today. Even some 24inch FullHD P-MVA Acer panels only had analog to cheap them out.

I got about half a year old R9 380 in the end. Now just have to transplant the HW to a new case with new PSU as my current 400W Liberty would not handle the 200W VGA.

I guess the mounting holes are still the same so I can use my ancient Accelero S1 with the 390 too?
