Default CoolerMaster VSM 750W Power Supply Review

Quote:
CoolerMaster's been doing pretty well for themselves lately. They took their power supplies to the next level with the help of the V series units, and are continuing their quest for world domination here today with the VSM 750 watt unit. This is an 80 Plus Gold semi-modular unit that promises some big things from a small package.

Did you know that finding decent zip tie vendors is actually astonishingly difficult?

I've had my suspicions ever since I bought a bag of 100 and the latches on every last one of them broke when I tried to use them.

I bought a bag of 1000 and they were fine and they cost like less than 1 cent each? ... CM only provides zip ties on the V1200.
Really, CM?

Not sure about the V850 and 1000 though.

I was being facetious. All our future power supplies are due to have zip ties, starting with V1200. VSM series technically launched last year, before I pushed for them to be included. I've suggested we make a running change ASAP.

It has been almost 7 months since I've actually logged in here, but I did so for this occasion (I'm still reading the reviews though guys ).

CM, it is damn good to see that you are making headway at making yourself better. The more companies that do this, and all strive to be better keeps all the others honest and working towards the same goal. In the end the customer wins, and the customer is the one that matters.

I won't lie, long ago I was hard pressed to suggest anything CM. But seeing this, has helped change my mind.

Excellent review as always, good job.

As it seems I will be the last to take a sample of this.. But I am currently overloaded with work so maybe it is better this way (these NAS reviews are killing me )
