Default OCZ to file for bankruptcy

From MaximumPC, it looks like the end is near.

Not the first one and not the last one.
The question is: Who's next?

well, I give them credit for being a moving force on the ssd to consumer market.

If it had been left to Intel, ssd might never moved out of the Server/ $5000 market. ?

While their service and driver support/reliability left something to be desired, they certainly blazed the trial.

pity they couldn't do it all...maintain quality, leadership and profitability.

I do like my Samsung SSD now...but like I say...would things have moved along so fast without OCZ?

RIP.

So that means the end of PCP&C as well? (Unless somebody buys the name, could happen I guess).

Well, their heyday is long since gone. And their FUD left some legacies that didn't really do the world any great favors. So personally I don't care, but it'd be interesting to see if anyone is actually still interested in the brand name.
