Dave, My recommendations:
Modular psu guide: Ditch the Modstream and the Neo 480, and add in: NeoHE series, Silverstone Strider ST75 Bang-for-buck guide: I'd swap the Xclio for the Sytrin Masscool Nextherm 460. A bit more power, sleeved cables, and only a few bucks more. Not to mention seventeam ![]() Just suggestions.

Keep the XCilo GoodPower 500W as they are working fine. Half of the new egg reviews report DOA on that Masscool, WTF? lol Thanks, Dave EDIT: Feel free to copy/paste & then add/subtract, it would be real nice if we had almost universal agreement on these guides!

I may come up with my own list. Not sure, but I want it to be known that I don't agree 100% with Dave's list either.
So for now, let it be known that Dave's list is DAVE'S LIST. Like Dave said, it would be nice if we could all agree on a "universal guide," and if we don't agree on something, we just leave it off.

I think we could come up with a universal guide also. Maybe something like rankings on how a PSU stacks up in quality, then sub organized by wattage (or rated wattage).

I'm starting to work on it up in the PSU forum.

YOUR list has some misplaced units david.
There is nothing that special about OCZ units and the Antec Neo, TP & SP units are loaded with Fujyyu craps. Fully 80% of the power related problems posted over at Anand's are with these Antec models. *shakes head* |

Agree 100%. Topower units should not be in anywhere in the top zone. Just to reinforce what you said Galvo, the guy I play International conflic (Joint Ops) with had his Antec blow up on him last week. I'm amazed Antec are still putting out such crap instead of stopping the product line.
