I actually bought some stuff while I was there. Great deals on select products. The guy I was there with bought two printers, two cameras, paper.... Micro Center is really a good store! I wish there was one by me.

Tiger stores are ok... but Micro Center has more variety. Fry's is cool, but the Fry's I've always been to look like a tornado has been through them and you can't find squat.

Here's some more pics. It's not many because a manager asked me to put away the camera.

The whole shopping center is new. The Micro Center is adjacent to a new Pep Boys and in the back ground you can kind of see a new Lowes. Sales tax is only 3.25%, so I think they plan to draw folks in from the city with the low sales tax. Especially with big LCD and plasma purchases.

The outside looks a lot like the other Micro Centers I've seen. Inside is a different story.

Just the PSU isle alone is phenominal. They have the Ultra X3 1000W, The Galaxy DXX 1000W, The Infiniti, Corsair... you name it!

Here's the BYOC center. Lot's of goodies here. Definitely the place someone like me would spend most of his time. This was when I was told to put away the camera.

The cable selection (not cables like USB and Firewire, but like round IDE, SATA in different colors, etc.) is UNREAL!

Here's a better pic of the water tubing, cable sleeving, etc. Note the custom dye sub cases in the background.

SMALL PARTS GALORE!!!!!!!

Oh my god... I could work at a store like that, and they could pay me peanuts, and I could be happy as hell...

Thanks for the pics Jonny!

Good luck getting on there. I've tried at both of them in my area and one was an hour drive away. No love at either place.

Well... if you live in North NJ, this Micro Center is hiring. There are now hiring signs everywhere.

Matt: I asked about doing Georgia. They said that the Atlanta store is too small, but Marietta has enough room to have a "Knowledge Theater." I suggested a choosing a power supply clinic, bringing my load tester, etc. If it goes through, care to help out?

There's more than one in Atlanta? Hmm....

When I asked, they just said "Atlanta and Marietta."

The two I know here are Marietta and Duluth. I don't actually think there is a Microcenter currently in atlanta. The Marietta store is the closest to Atlanta proper......(ie the Perimeter).
