Arrow Enermax Platimax DF 600W Review

Quote:
It's been a few years since we've looked at anything from Enermax's Platimax line. Today we are going to take a look at one of their newest entries in that line, the Enermax Platimax DF 600W. The Platimax DF series utilizes a fully modular design paired with custom individually sleeved cables. One of the new features the Platimax DF offers is Enermax's DFR (Dust Free Rotation) function, which allows the fan to start up in reverse blowing away any dust before switching back to its normal rotation. On that note, let's dust this off and get things rolling.

Tazz hasn't been feeling too good lately, so yours truly is helping out.
Hope he gets better soon.

I am getting a CWT vibe from this unit indeed. Can't say it for sure, but that'd be my educated guess.
That's Fortech Electronics!

Also this PSU is terrible value for the current price.

Thanks! As always a great reveiw.
An interesting unit, but expensive (well 80+ Platinum SPU are never cheap)
In this rveiew is said to be probably a CWT (common in many Enermax & LEPA), but HardOCP in this PSU (600W) and Aris in the 500W one said they are Fortech Electronics,(same group than Segotep and Chaintech, so probably same platform as Segotep ZP500P-SG. RealHardTech (perhaps following Aris & HOCP) state is Fortech

edit: damm! Three of you were faster than me! ROLF

If you like those braided cables a lot the price is ok. If not you can have better PSU for less.

From the same page... Is it a Fortech or CWT unit?
