Your PR guy needs a replacement then because he did the analysis wrong and he forgot Corsair isn't the only tech company placing ads. Future PLC, Purch, Advance Publications, etc all crush us and JG.com.........and it isn't even close on impressions or click through.

This is why I keep bugging Tony to increase the advertising rates.
That would be a tragic mistake.

Aside from the additional time needed, of course...
It doesn't really film well. There is nothing cool to see most of the time that doesn't show in stills and the extra bandwidth used doesn't result in a better ROI.

Not for those who use adblockers

I will clarify then. Obviously he only analyzed sites that Corsair advertises on.

I thought that kind of goes without saying given that I said "everyone that Corsair advertises with".

I do not know how many impressions other companies get and I don't know the total number of impressions that are dished out on bigger sites.

Some sites only sell you X number of impressions. Say, Y number of impressions a month for $X. But if another site DOES NOT rotate your ad, it's very likely that you'll exceed Y on a good month.

Well I personally whitelist ads on websites I frequently visit, like JG. Helps keep the server's running, not to mention JG doesn't serve annoying ads.

No matter how reputable a site is, I still run my adblocker. Time and time again I accidentally click these ads which end up being these stupid sites which I also believe half of the time are malware infested. I've seen the ads on this site and they are mostly PSU and PC hardware ads, so these ones should probably be alright. But like the Tomshardware ads are just going too far, especially the ones that avoid adblock+.

I agree about the toms ads. Those taboola and outbrain ads are the worst. Ublock origin all the way /s

The best way to get rid of most malicious ads is to look at oscilloscopes (keysight and Tektronix) and ICs for a minimum of 1 hour a day. Then all you get are ads of their $500k oscilloscope and some ti/nxp ads

And what if you look for 1 hour a day at YouPorn/PornHUB?
Sorry, couldn't resist!

Well WE appreciate that.

Our ads is one thing I take very seriously. I've tested a few things over the years and as you can see. I've stuck with the standard setup that was here when I first come around. Sure I've added a few ad spots, but I will always keep them PC related.

Filming a review wouldn't be all that complicated. A couple of decent web cams and the right software and you're golden.

Although I haven't done much lately. I video every unit that goes on my tester. I have one cam pointing at the tester to catch the numbers, while I have another one pointing at the rear of the PSU. If the unit survives the process the vids hit the trash can.
