Default These forums are here for YOU

I've moderated forums before, but this is the first time I've ever put one up from scratch (and even then, I had LOTS of help.)

If there is a feature that you feel needs to be turned "on" or "off" or something that needs to be changed, please feel free to ask here. I'm open to every idea. Whatever it takes to make you guys feel welcome.

A couple off the top of my head:

If it was me I would ditch the rate a thread. It usually isn't worth using IMO.

And I would disable attachments. Goatse will magically appear and it just makes the forum db huge.

Ok. I got rid of thread ranking, but kept attachments... at least for images.

I'll see how it goes. It should have it usefulness, but I can see how it can be abused.

Jonny, maybe quick reply can be enabled by default. Most people are used to that.

Oh... yeah. Now you have to click that little icon to enable the quick reply box. Yeah.. that doesn't make much sense.

I like the multi quote feature! Pretty nifty!
