Hi there, and thank you very much for the review.

Just a quick question though, I found an AX 1500 for sale for half the price of a brand new, it's about 1 year old and still under warranty, is it a good idea to buy it second hand or better off sticking with a brand new unit?

Do you need a PSU like that? If you only have one graphics card a Corsair RM550x is for example only a quarter of the price of the AX1500i.

If you have the money for a rig that needs 1500W you have the money to buy it new.

With second hand you have some problems with the Warranty as most companys exclude the second hand buyer from the warranty - or only give a (way) shorter warranty period.

And no, it rarely makes any sense to get a used PSU. Always get one of those new!
Especially since you do not know why the unit was sold in the first place! And that's the point. Why should someone sell their AX1500i??
