Updating: these PSUs literally disappeared on the stores. Some list them as out of stock and others delisted them completely. Impressive.

That in Spain wouldn't happen. I am completely sure. A review like this one would have no big effect on their sales. Not if we don't have a Ronaldo. We need you Ronaldo Buassali. Influencer with knowledge and good equipment testing bad psus.

I think that's a surprise, since he tested a bunch of other craps and they're still on the market here. Maybe there was some hype because of the brand per si and since they also included an 80 Plus badge (fake of course, but they did the tricks with Ecova in order to get the certification).

The guys at TecLab are now saying they'll do a recall of 800+ X-Calibre PSUs and those PSUs will be replaced with the NRP line, supposedly made by CWT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHtrgTrP0HM

It's interesting to notice Xigmatek updated the NRP's webpage with new models: http://www.xigmatek.com/product_list...bcategoryid=11

It looks different from the last shot done by the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20160609...bcategoryid=11

Specs are also different, now they claim to have APFC and 80 Plus certification (although I didn't find anything on the 80 Plus page).

Those ways achieve changes when they complain with evidence.

Errr... I still have my doubts. If I understood correctly, the recall will be done by the distributor at their own expenses, not Xigmatek. And the changes on the Xigmatek's website about the NRP sounds suspect for me.

It's interesting to notice they're also the official distributor for Seasonic PSUs in Brazil, and they claim they do the RMA of the PSUs in 72 hours, but this is not what happens in practice.

At least someone in Brazil is doing real testing. In Spain there is no one and all psu reviews are crap. I hope that will change a bit in few months...........

Actually RealhardtechX is doing quite a good job, especially considering the fact the guy doesn't have any programmable load.

Yeah, but we haven't seen them in quite a lot. More than a year. Now they released this
