Hello

i am planning to buy SMART M450W, i need opinions about this product

The same platform as Corsair CX series. TT Smart M 450w is the first semi-modular unit based on this platform. It's a solid design for entry level units. But I haven't seen the MSRP. Customers shouldn't pay too much for it.

Watch out for its 8-pin PCI-E, if you plan to connect 2x6-pin card, if sth stands in the way, you may need to cut off 2 pins manually and void the warranty or use adapters. Thermaltake has some problems with getting it right, apparently.

Thats strange.. 1x6+2pin and 1x8pin PCI-E on a 450W power supply unit?? I wonder why didn't they go whit 1x6pin and 1x6+2 instead they used a 8pin connector... I don't get it o.O

He has to cut either way, because there are two pins connected so you can't put an 8pin connector in a 6pin socket, without modifications...
