Default Corsair Link XP screw up

all that great and wonderfull link here, link there, over there too. When you finally want to use it, you get screwed up but unseen levels of insane uncompetency and amateurism of course.

- Corsair Link Software 4.2.1.42 03/07/2016
The curent operating system is not supported.
- Corsair Link Software 4.2.0.162 01/26/2016
The curent operating system is not supported.
- Corsair Link Software 3.2.5742 10/08/2015
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
- Corsair Link Software 3.2.5695 08/12/2015
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
- Corsair Link Software 3.2.5676 07/28/2015
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
- Corsair Link Software 3.2.5676 07/28/2015
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
- Corsair Link Software 3.1.5570 05/14/2015
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
- Corsair Link Software 2.7.5361 09/30/2014
…CorsairLink.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Old 2.6.something versions even luanches, shouting something about kernel not supporting functions. Well the problem also is, that even if the SW itself somehow runs, THE DRIVER is not working under XP.

DOES CORSAIR TAKE THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR IDIOTS? It's worth reminding there is still over 200 000 000 computers running XP. But OK, their choice not to support it. BTW I've found they started to piss on XP back in 2012 already when the usage was maybe about half a bilion. LOLMAO

STILL, WOULD BE AT LEAST GOOD TO SAY SO, FFS!! IS IT SO COMPLICATED TO ADD A LINE OF TEXT STATING THE SUPPORTED SYSTEMS?!? There is NO INFORMATION ABOUT SUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS ANYWHERE at least as far as I have checked.

- Link dashboard: only marketing bullshit
- download page: NOTHING at all
- manual: there is none
- download archive with exe: nothing at all

I go on vacation for the first time in years only to come back to this? Nothing but bile, insults, and flamebaiting? You're done here.

EDIT:

Reading comprehension 101... Sorry about that. Skipped over the fact that you were trying to install in XP,
Now I'm curious if I could install 2.7.5361 or even 3.1.5570, as I have a nice testing Win XP VM (also good for Heroes III Chronicles lol).

They really don't have to support a 15 year old operating system, users shouldn't be surprised.

Besides, if you've got an expensive, Link-capable power supply, then the rest of your computer is probably quite high end too - be it for gaming, video production or other uses. And who would play high end games or render videos on Win XP?

Oh Jon, please don't be that negative about him, all in all he isn't such a bad guy, he has just a somewhat troublesome personality (though that was enough to draw the attention of Wolf's banhammer)...

That's right Tazz, we're at the gun club and that's the turkey shooting : my fault, at last I got it, I'm the only one who didn't start to think he was that annoying.

BTW, talking about software, nice smile you used ( ): how may I type it (set aside copy and paste, I mean)?
