Default Corsair CX750

Listed at newegg, clicky.

Through the back grill you can see the typical CWT green film, it's 80+ Bronze (or so they say) and it has the power distribution typical to a DC to DC design. I'm thinking a cut down/cheaper PUQ.

That price looks pretty good, if it's a PUQ design that could easily be the best value.
Newegg's listing is messed up though. This unit (from the picture) obviously has 6+2pin PCIe connectors (not 6pin.)

Newegg also says a 5 year warranty; but it's a CX Series, so it's most likely 3 years.

Corsair's website & 80plus don't have this unit listed yet though.

Well, newegg jumped the boat many times before.

I can see three PCIe connectors in the cabling/connectors pic, the 4'th one should be there (somewhere) as well.

I can actually see all 4 in there.

Seeing through the EMI stage, it is a match to PUQ.

Corsair now has a high density of 550w-850w units in its product line.

$100 with $20 rebate and 15% off till 8/22.
Seems a good deal at the moment (if you need 750w)

I'd say 600/650 to 850W, there's nothing worthwhile in the <650W range (from my perspective).

CX500 on sale is not a bad deal, considering it's got the cabling & output of a good 450w unit and some solid efficiency. Noise isn't too bad either.

CX430v2 still bugs me because of the name/wattage (but not beyond recommendation given a tight budget) and the CX600 just seems pointless (but people will buy cheap 600w units, especially with the corsair name on it.)

$10 cheaper than Core 750W, and not really worse at all - or at least so it seems.
