Question Help me choose

Hi there,

Im sitting at home with a new SS-1000 platiunum PSU from seasonic,.

But

I am considering The Be Quiet dark power pro 10 850 platinum

Since the Be Quiet is a bit cheaper (2000 instead of 2600) 200 eur vs 260
at least you get the ratio, its a 6-8 nice lunches difference

and since the power would be sufficient for my needs..

(3960x and a AMD 7970 some ssd , got a nas for storage and such.. then some slight/enthusiastic overclocking on top of that..)

but less money less warranty, but the KEY POINT.. better noise level ==??

it's to be installed into a lian li x900 vcase (black ) so you can think about the asthetics

some good pro con is also appreciated!

Please help me choose!

Although both are pretty quiet at medium loads, the Seasonic's fan doesn't spin at low loads and the beQuiet fan gets pretty load at full loads.

To me the XP seems louder than the P10 at full load (neither one being truly quiet though).

The only reason (I can think of) you would want the Seasonic over the BeQuiet! is the full modularity (which allows you to sleeve the wires without voiding the warranty), otherwise the P10 is the clear winner, it's an altogether superior product (superior functionality due to its much better cabling/connectivity, best in class actually).
